The Boma Hotels Hospitality Jobs in Kenya

The Boma Nairobi. boma inn Nairobi. boma inn Nyeri. boma inn Eldoret (opening soon).

After the successful launch of the “hottest” hotel & spa in town, The Boma Hotels is warming up to open the best hotel in Eldoret soon. 
We are seeking to recruit qualified individuals of exceptional integrity, competence and skills for the following positions:

Sous Chef: SC/2013
  • Should possess a certificate in Food Production or equivalent from a recognized hotel school, and a minimum of 5 years working experience as a Sous Chef in a 5* hotel.
Pastry Sous Chef: PCS/2013
  • Should possess a certificate in Food Production or equivalent from a recognized hotel school, and a minimum of 4 years working experience in pastry department of a busy 5* hotel.
Housekeeper: HKAH/2013
  • Should hold a certificate in Housekeeping & Laundry from a recognized hotel school, and at least 5 years experience in a 5* hotel in the same position.
  • A working knowledge in Opera and Material Control will be an added advantage.
F & B Supervisor: F&BSU/2013
  • Should hold a certificate in F&B service advance with a minimum of two years Supervisory experience in a busy 5* hotel.
Restaurant Waiter/Waitress: RW/2013
  • A certificate in F&B service from a recognised institution with minimum of one year experience in the same position is required.
Chef De Partie: CDP/2013
  • A holder of a certificate from a recognized hotel school in Food Production with a minimum of 2 years experience in a 5* hotel.
Cooks: KTNC/2013
  • Certificate in food production from a recognized hotel school and a minimum of 1 year experience in a 5* star hotel.
Front Office Supervisor: FOS/2013
  • Certificate in front office techniques from a recognized hotel school or equivalent. 2 years experience in the same position in a 5* hotel. 
  • Opera, Micros Point of Sale and Material Control working knowledge and excellent communication skills are required. 
  • Foreign language is an added advantage.
Receptionist/Cashier: FORC/2013
  • Certificate in front office techniques from recognized hotel school. 
  • 1 year experience from a 5* hotel, excellent communication skills and Opera working knowledge is required.
Switchboard Operator: FOSO/2013
  • Should hold a certificate or equivalent in secretarial studies or receptionist/switchboard operations. 
  • Training in customer service will be an added advantage.
Concierge/Porter: FOCO/2013
Doormen: FODM/2013
  • Should hold a KCSE certificate. 
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills required. 
  • Very presentable and well groomed. 
  • Training in customer service or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum height of 6” for doormen position
Reservations Clerk: RC/2013
  • Certificate in front office techniques from a recognized hotel school. 
  • Opera knowledge is required and 1 year experience in a 5* hotel in the same position.
Floor/Public area Supervisor: HKPAS/2013
  • A certificate in Housekeeping & Laundry from a recognized hotel school and at least 2 years experience in a 5* hotel. 
  • Opera and Material Control working knowledge is an added advantage.
Laundry Supervisor: LS/2013
  • A certificate in Housekeeping & Laundry from a recognized hotel school. Should have at least 2 years experience in a 5* hotel laundry. 
  • Opera and Material Control working knowledge is an added advantage.
Room Stewards/Stewardess HKRS/2013
  • Should hold a certificate in Housekeeping & Laundry and at least 1 year experience in a 5* hotel.
Public area Attendants: HKPA/2013
  • Should be a holder of a KCSE certificate. No experience required.
Laundry Attendants: HKLA/2013
  • Hold a certificate in Housekeeping and Laundry or similar training from a recognized hotel school. 
  • Should have at least 1 year experience as a Laundry Attendant.
Bar Assistants: FBBA/2013
  • Should hold KCSE certificate. 
  • A Bar Assistant will be responsible for general cleanliness and hygiene of the bars and bar equipment. 
  • No Experience required.
Assistant Cost Controller: FINACC/2013
  • Applicant should have a Diploma in related field and 3 years of working experience in a similar position.
Electricians: ENGE/2013
Plumbers: ENGP/2013

Air Conditioning Technicians: ENGACT/2013
  • Should have a Diploma or equivalent from a technical institution and a minimum of 3 years working experience in a well established organization. 
  • Being multi skilled in other fields will be an added advantage.
Fitness Instructor: HCFI/2013
  • Should hold a Diploma or above in fitness, aerobics or gym instruction; those with certificates must have not less than 3 years experience.
Beauty Therapist: HCM/2013
  • Certificate/Diploma in massage therapy, reflexology and aromatherapy from a recognized training institution and a minimum of 3 years working experience in the same position.
Health Club Receptionist: HCR/2013
  • Should hold a certificate in front desk techniques from a recognized hotel school or equivalent and 1 year experience in a 5* hotel. 
  • Opera and Micros Point of Sale working knowledge is required.
Health Club Attendants: HCA/2013
  • Should hold a KCSE Certificate. No experience required.
Pool Attendants: HCPA/2013
  • Should hold a KCSE certificate. 2 years experience in the same position is required.
Kitchen Stewards: KTNS/2013
  • KCSE certificate is required. This position is responsible for general cleanliness and hygiene of the Kitchen and Kitchen equipment.
  • No experience required.
